Evaluation of Equity in Education's 3-year Pilot Project
With the goal of reaching more students who would benefit from Pathways to Education programming, PQCHC has been working with stakeholders over the past several years to establish a Collective Impact initiative called Equity in Education (EiE) to explore ways to collectively address the gap in high school graduation rates among low-income communities in Ottawa. In January 2018, EiE received three years of funding from the Government of Ontario’s Local Poverty Reduction Fund (LPRF) to test a new approach to improving educational outcomes for youth living in low-income neighborhoods in Ottawa.
