Job Track Child Care
Are you interested in working in the child care sector?
Job Track is a 14-week pre-apprenticeship training and work experience program for those interested in working with children. This program provides participants with industry-specific training and certifications, as well as a paid placement at a childcare centre.
What you can expect:
Ongoing support from staff and employers
Paid work placement with on the job training
Assistance with the Child Development Practitioner apprenticeship application process
High possibility of being employed at a childcare center upon program completion
To be eligible for the Job Track Child Care program you must meet all of the following:
Be 18 years of age or older
Have a high school diploma or equivalent
Be out of work and out of school
Experiencing barriers to employment
Willing to be immunized and provide a police record check
