

Income Tax Program
Income Tax Clinic for 2024 is now closed, however we are accepting late tax return filing appointments from internal clients with previous registration and PQ staff referral until July 30th.
Next Income Tax Clinic will open and is expected to run from March 2026 to the beginning of May 2026.
Registration is expected to begin between February 16 and February 23, 2026.

About the Income Tax Program
The Income Tax Program is part of the Canada Revenue Agency’s Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP), which allows community organizations to host free tax clinics for eligible individuals.
Our clinic runs annually from March through April until the beginning of May, offering free income tax filing services to individuals who meet the eligibility criteria listed below.
This program is made possible through our partnership with the CRA, and is designed to support community members with modest incomes and simple tax situations.
We can accommodate a variety of languages as well as complete past tax returns up to 10 years.
Eligibility:
For individuals who resided in Ontario as of December 31, 2024
For residents who live in the PQCHC catchment and clients of PQCHC who make:
$35,000 or below (single)
$45,000 or below (family of 2)
$47,500 or below (family of 3)
$50,000 or below (family of 4)
$52,500 or below (family of 5)

Government Issued ID
Most recent Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) ‘Notice of Assessment’
T4, T4A, T4A(P), T4(RSP), T4A(OAS),T4E, T5, T3, and T5007
Universal Care Benefits (RC62), childcare expenses, tuition/education receipts (T2202A)
Disability Tax Certificate (T2201)
Recent proof of rent record, medical receipts, and charitable donations
Public transit passes or receipts
