Violence Against Women Program

PQCHC offers free individual counseling and support for Ottawa women who have experienced abuse by an intimate partner. 

Women may also choose to participate in support groups designed as safe places to share experiences and work together to end violence and other forms of abuse in their lives. Individual and group counselling is offered to women, ages 16 or older, who are being abused by their partners or significant others. Services are in person or over the phone. 

Individual and group support is also available for children who have witnessed woman abuse.  

This service is offered Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., at Pinecrest-Queensway Community Health Centre, in partnership with the Western Ottawa Community Resource Centre.  Please call 613-820-4922 ext. 3321 for an appointment.
