Michele Heights
Located in the Ottawa Community Housing neighbourhood of Michele Heights in the West End of Ottawa, the Michele Heights Community House serves as a program hub for the local community. We are committed to providing a variety of programs and services to enhance the well-being and quality of life for our residents. Currently, we have 137 units that are home to approximately 480 people.
At the Community House, we offer a range of programs for those that live in the Michele Heights Community. They are aimed at meeting the diverse needs and interests of our community residents. While program availability may vary based on funding, some of the program we provide include:
After School and Summer Kids Programs (ages 6-12): Engaging and educational activities for children, fostering their social, academic and personal development.
Community Adult Lunch Program: A warm and welcoming space where adults can enjoy nutritious meals together, fostering community connections and combating social isolation.
Adult Engagement Programs: Creative and recreational activities for adults, promoting self-expression, skill-building, and social interaction.
Food Support Program: A program aimed at addressing food insecurity in the community, providing access to essential food items and resources.
Clothing Cupboard: A resource that offers free clothing to community members.
Access to computers and printers: A computer lab equipped with internet access and printing facilities, enabling community member to access online resources, complete job applications, and more.
Community Events: We organize various community events throughout the year to bring residents together and create opportunities for interaction and enjoyment.
Referrals to other supports and services: We provide information and connections to additional support services within the community, helping residents access the resources they need.

MONDAY - FRIDAY 9:00-5:00PM (Closed 12:00-1:00pm for lunch)
