Supporting Neighbourhood Caregivers - Arabic

Supporting Neighborhood Caregivers (SNC) is a training program for parents and caregivers who are unable to access other parent education courses offered in the community. It is a certificate course and is great for English as a second language families. SNC is designed to respond to meet the needs of these individuals.

Topics are: home childcare business and community resources, job stress, children stress and self-esteem, planning your day for play, home safety and health, guiding children’s behavior, child development and importance of play. Bayshore drop-in site, 210 Woodridge Crescent, Ring 101 for access, workshop will be in the basement room. Snacks and childcare are available.
