Pathways: Apprenticeships
An apprenticeship is a form of training that teaches the skills needed to do a specific job in the trades and involves hands-on learning under the direction of a professional.
Training combines alternating periods of paid work (80 to 85%) and technical training (15 to 20%).
Technical training can occur in person or online.
Once an apprentice completes the hours required hours by a trade, they will be able to write an exam.
You are able to begin completing your apprenticeship while you are still in high school which is way easier!
